The 2017 NSW Dressage Championships is the final event whereby riders can gain performances to go towards the 2017 DNSW Annual Awards.  

Some riders are very close and the decider will be the results from the Championships.

There’s a sizzle of excitement at the Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden ahead of this evening’s official opening ceremony for the Longines FEI European Championships 2017. Para-Dressage is already well underway, and with the veterinary inspections for Dressage and Jumping now completed another 147 horse-and-rider combinations - 66 in Dressage and 81 in Jumping - are making their final preparations for what promises to be a fantastic week of top sport.

Opportunity for riders in Australia to qualify for overseas events 

This CDI-W falls into the EA Preliminary Selection Period for riders to qualify for the EA Nominated Selection Events for the World Equestrian Games (WEG) which will be held in Tryon, North Carolina, USA next year.

Germany’s Isabell Werth, the most medalled Olympic equestrian athlete in history, will be chasing gold with Weihegold OLD at the Longines FEI European Championships.

Expressions of interest are now open for the Australian leg of the 2017 FEI World Dressage Challenge to be held at Boneo Park 17^th October 2017.

The FEI World Dressage Challenge is designed to create a ‘bridge” between the National level and the first FEI level of International competition. This is Australia’s inaugural year in the long running FEI competition.

Saturday, 2 September 2017 from 9am to 11am

Location: At the far end of Stable Block A 

There is no need book a time BUT if you have riding commitments on the day and wish to book a time please contact Joe on the above number. 

The measuring will take place during the NSW Championships and horse/ponies coming in just to be measured must not interfere in any way with the running of the event and follow directions of the Stable Manager and Officials.

Riders from across NSW and some from Interstate are preparing to compete at the 2017 NSW Dressage Championships, to be held at Sydney International Equestrian Centre (SIEC) from August 31 to September 3. 

The championships are set to be the biggest in recent years, with an increased program taking in Adult Amateur Owner Riders (AOR), Open, Pony and Para Dressage categories, meaning many more competitors are able to compete and many for the first time.
