After some false starts, DNSW are pleased to finally be able to offer the 2020 “Back from Covid” event at Clarendon. The past nine-months have been so challenging, but all decisions on scheduling any activity at Clarendon have been made with the health and safety of Officials, Volunteers and Members at the forefront of committee discussions.

The Clarendon committee understand the frustrations you may have felt as competitions were cancelled, as we did in having to make the decisions.

To thank DNSW members for your patience, this event will be open to you exclusively from midday Saturday 17th October to midday Monday 19th October,

All other EA members will be able to enter from midday Monday 19th October.

Unfortunately, we still have Covid considerations with this event and will be monitoring Government recommendations as we roll but please expect:

  • Not to have a cheer squad – only one support person per rider (a groom or a partner or a child or a guardian – you get the drift)
  • To fill in some type of entry/exit protocol – for example Form/QR code
  • Limited entries
  • 2 horses per rider and 2 tests per horse per day only – to enable as many as we can to have a start
  • To watch this space for any new frustrations that may come our way!
  • Things to be different!

Please DO NOT attend this event if you have Covid-19 symptoms.

Covid Refund  Policy : if you have Covid-19 symptoms and have to scratch from the event you will receive a full refund less the admin fee and the nominate transaction fee.
