Covid 19:  Schedules are subject to change depending on the regulations that will apply at the time at the time of the event. 

Clarendon November Rescheduled Training Day and Competition Information 

Entry is through gate 1 only (the gate nearest the railway line)

Gate opens Wed - 7am/ Thurs & Fri - 6.30am


Change of plan - there will now be a check in point at the gate inside the grounds. Everyone in your party will be required to QR scan in everyone in your party and show your vaccination certificates - digital or paper to gain entry to the event. Please have your certificates ready to avoid delays.

If you cannot produce a certificate for anyone in your party entry will not be allowed (sorry)


The weather forecast is not good!

Richmond has received 90mm of rain over the last three days and yesterday the grounds were quite wet - although the arenas were draining.

The grounds will be inspected tomorrow at 3pm and a go/ no go decision will be made for Thursday and Friday.

The ground will be inspected again on Friday at 3pm and a decision made for Saturday and Sunday.

The decision will be posted on Facebook, the DNSW website and riders will be emailed - so please check before you put your horses on the float.

Clarendon Protocol and Training Days

  • Training/practice days for 2021 will be advised 
  • Please note Training day fee per horse is $20 (DNSW Members) $30 per horse (NON-Members) to cover the cost of grading and watering the arenas for the practice day
  • Please book in to attend the Training Day via nominate, arena times will be advise closer to the event on Clarendon Events Webpage, Riders attending the Training/Protocol Day: Once you arrive please come to the office/see DNSW committee member to collect your wristband.  All riders riding in the Arenas must have a Wristband on during the Training/Protocol Day.  Riders who do not pre-book the training can arrive on the day, cost is $30.  
  • Riders must be members of the EA and conditions apply.
