Competition at Clarendon Cancelled due to Covid-19

The Clarendon Events Sub-Committee met this afternoon to determine if the 8-9th August training day and competition should go ahead.

We considered our responsibility to our riders, responsibility to our judges and volunteers, and responsibility to the broader community. We made the very difficult to cancel both the training day and the competition.

We realise how disappointed those of you who entered the event will be, however we also recognise how insidious the Covid-19 virus is and we have taken into account the recent increase in transmissions in the Sydney metropolitan area.

Riders will receive a full refund including the administration fee, and the Nominate fee which DNSW will cover.

Our aim is to run a protocol/training weekend on 12-13th September. We know how keen everyone is to return to competition and we will keep you updated. In the meantime, stay safe.
