Current approved safety standards for helmets

Current approved safety standards for helmets

As per the EA General Regulations, Article 122.2: Dress and Salute, the following will apply: 

Except where Sport Rules allows otherwise, riders and drivers competing in an EA competition, must wear an approved helmet with the chin strap fastened at all times. The same is recommended when riding a horse at any time.

The onus is on the competitor to comply with the new requirements.

The winners of the 2016 DNSW Annual Awards and Performance Medals will be presented with their awards on Saturday, 12 November at the annual awards night and Christmas Pirouttes Party.

TRYON (USA) TO HOST FEI WORLD EQUESTRIAN GAMES™ 2018

 

The FEI is pleased to announce that the FEI World Equestrian Games™ 2018 will be held at the Tryon International Equestrian Center in North Carolina (USA) following unanimous support from the FEI Bureau during a teleconference today. 

Indeed, following the withdrawal of Bromont earlier this year, the FEI Bureau mandated the President to find a solution and, after a thorough assessment of a number of options, the President proposed that the Bureau allocate the Games to Tryon.

In Memoriam: Wim Ernes (NED), Olympic Dressage judge and Dutch team coach (1958 - 2016)

NSW Squad rider 18 year old Mary Warren, makes history at the Nationals

The  Grand Prix Freestyle at the Australian Dressage Championships offered another great moment of sport to the public and crowned the 18-year-old Mary Warren and her stunning Mindarah Park Ramadan (71.00%). Mary who was - very understandably - emotional at the presentation, makes history at the Nationals on Saturday night, becoming the youngest rider to win a Freestyle CDI-W in Australia.
