2016 DNSW Committee Announcement

The Annual General Meeting for Dressage NSW was held on Tuesday, 8 December 2015.

Four positions were declared vacant at the AGM and three nominations were received from Gail Benson, Helen Lawson and Prue Spurrett.  All three were re-elected and Jocelyn West was elected from the floor at the meeting.  Welcome Jocelyn.

DNSW & ENSW Judge Scholarship Program

Dressage NSW with financial support from Equestrian NSW is proud to launch a judge scholarship program for dressage judges across NSW. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide various degrees of financial support to judges with the aim of the program to both grow the total number of dressage judges across all levels in NSW, and more importantly, provide assistance to for people who are looking for opportunities to move up through the grades and in particular to advance to EA B, A level and to gain FEI Accreditation.

Dressage NSW is sad to learn of the death of John Seefried, husband of Mary Seefried.  John died yesterday after a long illness. 

On behalf of the DNSW Committee, our members and supporters, our sincere condolences to Mary and the family.

Young Horse Seminar

Young Horse Seminar

Held in conjunction with the DNSW Clarendon Event

Judge Educators:  Susie Hoovenaars and Sue Cunningham

This seminar is open to judges of all levels, riders, coaches and any interested people.  Everyone is welcome to attend.  The new 2016 Rules have made D level judges eligible to upgrade to Young Horse judges and this is the perfect opportunity to do so.  

Judges of A – D level can now sit their practical and theory exams on this day to become Young Horse Judges and we need you.

Please note judges of C Level and above are eligible.
