Prue Spurrett's has decided to step down from the DNSW Committee which has created a Casual Vacancy on the Committee.  Prue's feels with her recent appointment to the ADC Committee as well as being part of the ENSW Board she does not have enough time to remain as an elected member.  Prue will still remain involved with DNSW by assisting with DNSW Squad activities and as a member of the Sydney CDI organising Committee.

In NSW, Eventing NSW and Dressage NSW have joined forces to provide a Preliminary Judges Course for both Eventing and straight dressage judges.  This is an approved EA NOAS Officials course.  Peter Shaw, National A level Judge and Judge Educator and Eventing FEI judge, will be the course director for the dressage seminar.

The Annual General Meeting for Dressage NSW was held on Tuesday, 8 December 2015.

Four positions were declared vacant at the AGM and three nominations were received from Gail Benson, Helen Lawson and Prue Spurrett.  All three were re-elected and Jocelyn West was elected from the floor at the meeting.  Welcome Jocelyn.

Dressage NSW with financial support from Equestrian NSW is proud to launch a judge scholarship program for dressage judges across NSW. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide various degrees of financial support to judges with the aim of the program to both grow the total number of dressage judges across all levels in NSW, and more importantly, provide assistance to for people who are looking for opportunities to move up through the grades and in particular to advance to EA B, A level and to gain FEI Accreditation.
