Judy Dierks and Diamond Star have taken out the showcase event of the 2018 OTTO SPORT AUSTRALIA Sydney CDI3*, the Equestrian NSW Grand Prix Freestyle CDI.

Dierks and Diamond Star scored 72.620 per cent, more than one per cent ahead of Deon Stokes and the Royal Olymp stallion, Royal Oak II, on 71.315 per cent. Shannan Goodwin riding Aristede was third with 70.480 per cent.

The audience can again put themselves in the judges' seat at the 2018 OTTO SPORT AUSTRALIA Sydney CDI, with the return of the SAP/Black Horse Spectator Judging app for the event from May 2 to 5.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we unfortunately have to announce that Stephen Clarke is no longer able to attend the Sydney CDI.  

We are extremely grateful to FEI 5* Judge, Maria Colliander from Finland, who at short notice agreed to replace Stephen on the Judging panel.   

We are also pleased to announce that the Masterclass Workshop will go ahead on Sunday with Sandra (Sandy) Hotz FEI 4* Judge and Coach from the USA as the presenter.

Australia's most prestigious international dressage event, the OTTO SPORT AUSTRALIA Sydney CDI, is not only a showcase of the nation's most talented horses and riders but an Equestrian Australia qualifying event for this year's World Equestrian Games (WEG), taking place in the United States. 

Queensland rider Alexis Hellyer and her horse Bluefields Floreno have only been competing at Grand Prix level since September last year but have already achieved one qualifying score on home soil for WEG.
