Andree Wheeler steps down as President of Dressage NSW

Andree Wheeler has resigned from the position of Dressage NSW (DNSW) President and committee member, effective immediately, due to increasing work commitments in her high-profile position in the public service.

Time-permitting, Andree has generously offered to support the DNSW committee in whatever capacity she can, as she is very committed to the sport and its future success in NSW.

The conditions of entry and schedule for the 2019 Australian Dressage Championships is now available. Updates and other information for competitors will be added to the competitor page of the website.  

Entries close on 4 September 2019.  Entries will open mid-August on Nominate.

Equestrian sport boosted with allocation of major events through 2021

Photo caption: Two other major Championships were also allocated for 2021, with the FEI Eventing European Championships going to Haras du Pin (FRA) and the FEI Endurance European Championships to Ermelo (NED).

The Fédération Équestre Internationale (FEI) has today allocated host cities for 13 FEI Championships for the next two years and nine FEI Driving World Cup™ legs for the 2019/2020 season.

Countries line up to host FEI World Championships in 2022

A total of 10 countries have put in formal bids to host the FEI World Championships 2022, including two proposals to host the multi-discipline FEI World Equestrian Games™. Bidding countries are Denmark, Estonia, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, the Netherlands, United Arab Emirates, and the United States of America.

2019 National Dressage Performance Gold Medals

2019 National Dressage Performance Gold Medals

The Equestrian Australia Dressage Committee is once again supporting a special Gold Medal System to recognise outstanding performances throughout the year. Gold medals have been distributed every year since 2010.

National Dressage Performance Gold Medals will be awarded to horse/rider combinations who obtain the following in the current year.

The medals will be presented at the 2019 Australian Dressage Championships on 19 October 2019

Australia's most prestigious international dressage event, the OTTO SPORT AUSTRALIA 2019 Sydney CDI3*, will once again host an extensive shopping village to cater for every equine taste.

The shopping village at this year's OTTO SPORT AUSTRALIA Sydney CDI will open for business from Thursday, May 2 to Saturday, May 4 inclusive next to the indoor arena and surrounding areas at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre (SIEC).
