Charlotte Fry (GBR) and Glamourdale added Grand Prix Freestyle gold to the Grand Prix Special title they won the previous day at the FEI Dressage World Championship Aachen 2026.

Scoring 91.907% with their flying-themed Freestyle, they brought the packed Main Stadium to its feet. Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour (DEN) and Mount St John Freestyle took silver, while Dressage legend Isabell Werth (GER) and Wendy de Fontaine claimed bronze.

Twenty years after winning team gold in Aachen, Germany repeated the feat in front of their home crowd at the FEI Dressage World Championship 2026.

The hosts finished on a team total of 235.063%, 3.618 points clear of Great Britain, while defending champions Denmark took bronze.

The ENSW Annual Award winners for Dressage are selected by the DNSW committee from nominations submitted by clubs and others.

The 2026 Award winners are:

Young Rider of the Year -  Tia-Rose McKenzie

Senior Rider of the Year - Serena Ireland

Para Rider of the Year - Lisa Martin

Horse of the Year - Royalty R

Pony of the Year - Charlie Sheen 

Official of the Year - Jobina Kennedy (FEI Level 3 judge) 

Volunteer of the Year - Jenny Bryant (Young Dressage Club)
