Mandy Jones is the new President of DNSW

Dressage NSW is pleased to announce the election of Mandy Jones to the position of President.

Mandy has been a DNSW committee member for the past 12 months and has been the Young Rider (YR) Program Coordinator for the past 4 years. Mandy developed this successful program from its inception in 2016. She is currently the Event Organiser for the Youth Dressage State Championships and coordinated the previous Youth Dressage National Championships held in NSW.

Mandy is delighted to be taking the reins at what she sees is an inspiring time.  “Dressage NSW had to swiftly adapt and re-think how things are done as it navigated the ever-changing COVID landscape.  We have a wonderful opportunity to embrace and build on this progressive mindset to explore new ideas, think outside the box and work cohesively to support our riders, judges, officials, and the village of volunteers that underpin the sport. Dressage NSW has been fortunate to have had a succession of strong leaders at its helm over many years, and I thank Petra for her leadership during such a tumultuous year. Filling the shoes of such dedicated past Presidents will not be easy but I am keen to see the sport grow and look forward to the challenge.”

Jo Gunn has been elected to the position of Honorary Secretary. Jo has been a member of the DNSW committee for 16 months and has been involved with the sport for many years as a rider and as an administrator, including the being the current Event Secretary of Northside Riding Club. Jo will bring her many skills and her undoubted enthusiasm to DNSW.
