FEI Dressage Stewards Courses at Boneo Park

FEI Refresher Course Participants with Elisabeth Williams and Cathie Drury-Klein

Boneo Equestrian Park hosted two FEI Dressage Steward Courses alongside the Dressage Nationals in October.

The 3 day FEI Level 1 Course attracted the attendance of ten National Dressage Stewards with representation from every state. Also held was a one day Refresher which saw sixteen L1-L3 Stewards re-accredit for a further three years.

Elisabeth Williams from the US conducted both courses and it was apparent to all why she has been selected as Chief Dressage Steward for the World Equestrian Games in Tryon in 2018.  Her classes were very informative, and she imparted a lot of knowledge on a range of stewarding experiences.   Cathie Drury-Klein, Australia’s Dressage Steward General, was the Course Assistant and her local knowledge proved an invaluable asset.

Congratulations to NSW EA Stewards who where promoted to FEI Level 1 status:  Petra Hines, Earle Olaisen, Kylie Miller, Geoff Jones, Louise Cairns, Vivi Sirola lee.

NSW FEI Stewards who attended the Refresher Course:  Bruce McVey, Linda Bruce, Trevor Klein, Toni Venhaus.

  • DNSW provided financial support for several of the NSW FEI Level 1 course candidates and the FEI refresher Course participants to attend this course.
  • Thank you to Equestrian NSW who supports DNSW with funding to allow us to pass this on to all Officials to attain or maintain EA or FEI Accreditation.
