Saddleworld Australia continues to Support the Australian Dressage Championships

Equestrian New South Wales and the 2015 Saddleworld Australian Dressage Championships organizing committee are delighted to announce that Saddleworld Australia are to continue as naming rights sponsors of the 2015 event. Saddleworld continue to support our sport in a very significant way and we look forward to working with the Saddleworld team to ensure the success of the Championships for everyone involved.

Around 200 competitors are expected to travel from around the country to the Sydney International Equestrian Centre at Horsley Park from October 21 to 25 vying for Australian Dressage Titles. The Championships will attract Australia’s top dressage combinations and it is expected all states will be represented as well as riders from New Zealand.

So what’s on over the 4 days of competition?

The Championships will feature a World Cup Qualifier CDI‐W & CDI‐Y (the CDI‐W being a very important competition leading towards the Rio Olympics 2016), Championship competitions from Novice to Grand Prix, Para‐Equestrian Championships, Freestyles to Music all day Saturday into the evening with the crowd favourite the Grand Prix Freestyle under lights in the SIEC indoor arena. Sunday will feature the ‘Stars of the Future’ Prix St Georges competition.

We are pleased to announce a highly regarded International Ground Jury consisting of Peter Holler (5* GER), Janet Foy (4* USA), Alban Tissot (4* FRA) & Sue Hobson (4* NZL), they will be joined by Australian International and National judges. We congratulate Peter Holler (GER) who has recently been selected to the Ground Jury for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

The Saddleworld Australian Dressage Championships will once again feature a popular shopping village with a wide range of products.

A new addition to the event in 2015 is the “Championships Hub” a lounge and dining area at the “C” end of the SIEC indoor Arena, a place for everyone to relax and unwind during the event. The Organising committee want everyone to feel a part of the Championships whether you are a rider, owner, spectator or sponsor ‐ all are welcome at the new “Championships Hub”
